Founded in 2017, By professionals with collectively over 26 years' experience in residential care; Horizons Group Care has been providing quality care and services to children that are considered AT- Risk. Our commitment to excellence has earned us a reputation as a trusted and reliable provider of residential group home services.
Our Philosophy
The Horizons Residential Group Home demonstrates leadership, Vision, and commitment to youth's voice and youth-led initiatives. Horizons Care has a carefully articulated approach to community youth development that is reflected in corporate values which guide all of the program's efforts to serve individuals, groups, families and the community. Youth development is the essential process to create physical, social, emotional, economic and environmental productivity for successful futures. A proactive, asset-based approach that empowers individuals and communities to go beyond solving problems to identifying and preventing future problems. Many who study adolescents development and work with young people have increasingly come to believe that beyond preventing problems, the youth need skills. knowledge and education time management, accountability, social / emotional and economic independence to function well during adolescence and into adulthood.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs and activities designed to promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth. From musical art therapy to cooking classes, our programs are tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of our residents.
